Home Workout Routines
Home workout routines are becoming increasingly popular these days because they offer more
convenience than a gym workout and are more cost effective than expensive home gyms or hiring a personal trainer. I have become accustomed to using home workout programs because they allow me to stay active even while living in a rural community. I also use them because I am a Team Beachbody Coach and offer free consulting to users of our home fitness workouts.
I created this page because data shows that more people are looking for alternative ways, like home workouts, to stay physically fit. I also know that people are seeking guidance on selecting a fitness program and then the support and encouragement needed to stick with it.
Initiating a new physical fitness program is often the hardest part as people do not know where to get started because there are tons of workout programs available. They key to success with any fitness routine is finding something you enjoy doing day after day. Boredom is one of the first things that deter someone's fitness goals.
Another reason why I enjoy working out from home is because of the convenience it provides. I don't have to drive to the gym to spend countless hours on a treadmill. I simply have a designated area within our home to complete my daily workouts. The only required piece of equipment is a DVD Player. Of course you can always add in resistance bands or yoga mats but that of course is up to you. The options are endless.

Reasons to Choose Home Workouts
There are three things that I one must consider when starting a workout routine in order to be successful at reaching their fitness goals. This includes convenience, affordability, and variety. Ensuring that you include all three in to your program will set you up for success than if you just had one out of the three.
Convenience is probably the most important of the three because if you can't fit it into your schedule you are much less likely to stick with it. Making a stop by the gym before or after work sounds like a good idea until you actually have to do it. Many people have the responsibility of kids and taking them to their activities so an extra stop just isn't feasible. When I was using a gym, I felt as if packing my gym bag was a huge hassle for me. I also had only a few hours where I could actually get to the gym because of their hours and at home I can workout whenever I feel like it.
No more fighting over the equipment or worrying about what you look like while working out, or watching others with "rock hard" bodies walk around in barely nothing making me feel less successful at reaching my goals.
Affordability of course is something we are all looking for especially in today's economy. We all want something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg but yet we want quality programs that help us get the results we hope to achieve. Not everyone has the cash to fork out to hire a personal trainer at $60 a session or join a gym for $30-$80 a month.
