Ab Workouts Information
Effective ab workouts are hard to find because most lack variety or emphasize in-effective floor crunches that often times do more damage than good.
Wouldn't it be great if you could find an entire workout program
that focused on development and strengthening your entire core as

Great Ab Workouts Should Include:
Obtaining ripped abs doesn't have to be painful, boring or take a long time to develop but you must focus on a few things other than just core work but unfortunately, there are NO quick fixes. If you want to lose abdominal fat and get chiseled abdominals, your ab workout program should include all of the following.
- An Effective Cardio Component-if you are soley doing abdominal workouts and not including aerobic fitness training into your workout routine, I guarantee that you will not get the ab that you desire. Regular aerobic fitness will help with fat loss while at the same time developing lean muscle mass. The last thing that you want to do is to develop great abs under layers of fat as you will appear bulky and not slim and slender.
- Resistance Training and Core Development-resistance training will help you build up your lean muscle mass and help to also enhance fat loss just like aerobic training. Developing core strength (mid-section of the body) is very important. Focusing all on areas of the core areas of he body will help you see better results and will also help you be less prone to injuries while performing everyday tasks.
- Supportive Healthy Eating Plan: Fitness is
only a small portion of the battle of the buldge and fight to
get ripped abs. It can only get you so far so you need to be
certain to pay close attention to your diet to obtain the
results you want.
A great ab workout plan will also include a nutrition guide,
tips, and tools to help you eat better in conjunction with your
workout program.

Beachbody has a few great ab workouts focused on all of the 3 things I mentioned above so take time to review them and if interested, purchase them directly from this site.
RevAbs:
I am sure you have all heard of a TV program called Biggest Loser
right? Of course you have! RevAbs trainer, Brett Hoebel is the
newest fitness trainer on the Biggest Loser so he is obviously a
well sought after train

in the fitness industry.
RevABs is a 90-day total body solution program but it is one that focuses on abdominal work for sure. You will get a great variety between cardiovascular strength and endurance as well as amazing core strength gains. Yes, you still get some great strength training for the rest of your body too!
Hip Hop Abs:
Shaun T (Insanity workout program) created Hip Hop Abs and
it has been
around for several years and it quite popular I must
say. I have not completed this program from start to finish like
many of the other Beachbody programs like P90X, Insanity, and
TurboFire but I have done a few of the workouts.
I am not very "dancy" so it personally didn't appeal to me but I believe it does work.
If you like to dance and "shake your booty" I think this ab
workout program would fit you really well.

TurboFire is another great program that I highly recommend for those of you who want to get ripped and lose inches not only in the core/abdominal area but also total body.
Chalene Johnson does an amazing job of working your core through this cardio-kickboxing program. It includes a TON Of core work that I think you will really enjoy.
Obtaining ripped abs is one of the hardest things to accomplish in my opinion. There are so many factors that go into abdominal work and many don't receive good advice which is why trying programs like RevAbs and Hip Hops Abs can help."Old school" techniques like floor sit-ups and crunches or "special" abdominal machines are proven to be in-effective for building a strong core and abdominals.
